Dating from 1905, these canals were Abbot Kinney's attempt to emulate Venice Italy in Los Angeles. Over time, many of the canals were filled in. The ones that remain are now upscale neighborhoods. Enjoy this quick drive. Check out my Los Angeles website at www.ultimatela.com
