Per MGM MIRAGE, buyers of condominiums at Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental, and Vdara Condo Hotel will not be able to resell (known as flipping) their condos for approx. 18 months after original close of escrow. A move that Aaron supports as it removes inventory from the market for the near future. When it comes the the Las Vegas Strip condo market, the media has failed to properly educate the consumers. While most media reports lead the public to believe there are thousands of high-rise condominiums on the Strip, there is actually less. Most importantly, consumers need to be educated on the differences between condotel inventory vs. residential product and why gaming-company developers are hesitant to build residential on their prime Strip land.
